My wife started watching A Discovery of Witches not long ago. I didn’t pay too close attention at first, but once I realized how fun it was, I made her start it over for me. It’s like if Twilight had been written by a historian, then filmed in England, France, and Italy on a big budget with a talented cast of older foreign actors. That’s a bad comparison but it’s close enough.

I also re-watched this little gem recently. One of my favorites. Tyrone Power, Orson Welles, and Wanda Hendrix star.
