You can think my Grandmother and Mother for that. They were the ones that taught me the library is the best way to get books and other media, particularly if you are a "one and done" reader like I am (I honestly don't remember the last time I re-read a book, fiction or non-fiction).
I was always a reader, particularly when traveling. I read books on the bus to school (I read all of Jules Verne in middle school, such grand trips), in the car on vacation, on planes when traveling for business, etc.
Now I use audiobooks exclusively, which surprised me. But, what I figured out is I'm a slow reader because it takes time to make up the "movie" in my head. Audiobooks keep me on track. A 10 hour unabridged audio book, which I go through in less than a week on my commute, would take me a month to read otherwise.
