On the first one, I question the validity of test 1 and 2. He locks up all four wheels in both tests, so not sure what advantage 4WD would give you there.
Ultimately I would expect 4WD to be an advantage over 2WD, either front or rear. That just means the limits are different and you have to drive differently to be safe. I would never drive a 2WD vehicle at the same speed, distance, etc as I would a 4WD in those conditions.
That doesn't mean I couldn't drive them both safely.
