My garage floor was dirt so the oil went back into the ground where it came from. Plus, oil was cheap back then ($0.22 per quart).
Iffen ya wanted to, you could put a pan under the oil drip to collect the oil to soak the cattails to be used as torches for when you went coon hunting.
