Buying meat in bulk and vacuum bagging it into smaller portions is probably the number one thing my father got me doing that I feel makes a huge difference when it comes to eating 'well' more often. Buy 6-8 steaks and then divvy them into pairs before bagging and freezing. Now I've got a freezer full of bloody goodness and I don't constantly have to be buying.

Yep. I feel good when my freezer is full. I usually buy one bag at a time, but I have freezer room so I bought 2 with the sale. 3rd bag is peeled tri-tips, also a good deal at $5.50/lb. Love Chef Store. I'm just really glad the store didn't change when the name changed from Cash and Carry.
