Had a milestone today of sorts at our house. I replaced the very first LED lights we bought for household use. They were in our front porch lights. Not sure exactly how old they are, but it is probably in the 10 to 12 year range. I know I paid a fortune for them but they have been on at least at a low level the entire time and about 6 hour a night at full burn. They were always on at low level because they were on a non-LED aware timer that let a trickle of electricity through to power itself.

Replaced the timer switch with a Leviton smart switch as well.

We still aren't fully converted to LED. We have a handful of incandescent bulbs left in closets and bathrooms that are used infrequently.

Here's one of the four LED bulbs I replaced. Totally old school. 3 of the 4 still had 1 LED working, but they didn't put out enough light.
