So, it sounds like an old, Yugoslavian, 4 cylinder, diesel tractor engine.
Just ignore the sounds and pay attention to the lights on the dash, they will usually tell you if the engine is ailing.
The only sound you have to fret about is a loud -
knock - knock - knock - if you hear that, just quickly pull over to the side of the road and call for a wrecker truck.
