Cracked forks, broken pivots happen, but I've never heard of a push rod bending. What kind of "heavy duty" clutch is in the car? Are you boosted? If n/a, a stock clutch is all you need. Versus forks and pivots are good up grades. Stock master and slave should work fine with almost any clutch.
