You didn't get the keyway lined up, and likely mushroomed the key on the crank.

If you get some small files, you can clean up the keyway on the sleeve and get in there and clean up the edges of the key itself.

You're going to need a new seal as you'll tear it up trying to file the key.

Otherwise it's pulling the front cover, and the chains to replace the key itself.
