i grew up next door to a vietnam vet. he didn't celebrate 4th of july, and we generally kept our fireworks 'shows' to a minimum. lots of bad memories, he was always nice to us as kids, but was always in a bad mood for weeks after 4th of july most times.
i'm near gary, indiana and chicago. if someone starts 'shooting', you best expect you might get shot back at!
