It makes sense, mathematically. Gen1 claimed 205 crank, and we know it made 175 wheel. We can use the ratio, knowing Gen2 makes 215 wheel:
(205 / 175) x 215 = 252 crank
You can almost get the same answer with the difference in displacement, knowing Gen1 was a 2.0 and Gen2 is a 2.4:
(2.4 / 2.0) x 205 = 246 crank
Basically, the car makes about 250 crank, give or take 5 hp. Fair enough?
