What I DO know for sure, however, is that I won't get these years back. I want to look back at these university years and have SOME sort of story/memory in terms of a car. Be it a stupid regret or an awesome decision!
I've paid not only for the car, but for the experience it will surely deliver.

That's totally understandable.
I don't necessarily have an issue with spending the money, instead what I'm spending it on. Every time I want to pull the trigger, I think about how $30k would help with purchasing a house in the future.
At the moment I still have the S2000 so I'm not exactly bored-to-death with my vehicle, I just get all giddy when I see a FR-S drive by. It has a "super car" esque presence which is hard to not notice.
I know in time I'll hopefully to be able to afford all the finer things in life...until then, study study and more studying.
