I spent $500 fixing minor pre-existing issues the car had when I bought it, and had zero issues over 3 years of ownership. It was a pretty nice looking car too, much more attractive than the 986. My upcoming new BRZ won’t come close to the fun per dollar that my used 987.1 gave, though it’s still a great value in the current market.
That Boxster is a nice looking car. I like the profile. I keep thinking about a new Cayman S as an alternative. If money is no object, would you consider the Porsche or get the BRZ and spend the difference on other fun stuff. People I knew are assuming room temperature these days and it serves as a reminder that you can’t take it with you.
