Most of my break in miles have been on unplanned road trips driven by family need and not any real "play time" behind the wheel.

With a hair over 1000 miles on the ODO I'm averaging 28.8 mpg if the OBC can be trusted. This is on highways with speeds about 75 mph in rolling hills and temps anywhere from 12 to 50F.

Overall I'm pretty happy. It's a little worse than my GTI or my 435i, but Subaru engines have never been known for their mileage or efficiency, so going in I wasn't expecting Prius-like results.

(Limited, manual on OEM tires)
