Very easy to find in Ohio and most of the midwest. Used to be really cheap too! When 87 was around $2, most e85 was around $1.85 - 1.90. Given that 93 was $2.60, the per mile cost of running e85 vs. 93 was a wash. However, recently, e85 has been closer to $3 and 93 is about $3.40 - $3.50. At that price, 93 is somewhat cheaper on a per mile basis. Not a huge difference, but it was a no-brainer when it was the same cost or cheaper.
I will go back to e85 in the spring/summer, but figured that now isn't a bad time to let her have some 93 for awhile. Besides, I don't have a flex fuel kit so switching back and forth is a little bit of a pain.
Can't wait to get my 2022 and will be itching for the first tunes for catless header and e85 to get their initial bugs worked out.
