ST are also pretty soft, looks like less then 4k F/5k R, and twin tubes are pretty good for road comfort. Racecomp SS are slight stiffer then ST iirc, might be an acceptable tradeoff for road comfort and track performance.

Edit: Ohlins were like 4k/3k for awhile

Lowering springs will allow you to use 8” wide wheels just fine in +35-+45 offset (lower offset means more camber from bolts though, you can get -3 with +40 on stock diameter springs), 225 wide tires are more widely available then 235 which is a bit of an oddball size, most manufacturers skip over it for niche track oriented compounds and go to 245 which is happier on a 9” or wider.
