I've gotta figure out the right way to make soda now lol.

I made their brand Dr. Pepper equivalent (Dr. Pete lol) last night and it was great for what it was and the amount of carbonation was perfect. I probably had a glass and a half of it, which left ~1/2 the liter left. I made sure the cap was on tight. Today, not even 24 hours after making it it seems like it only has maybe 1/3 the carbonation. I don't think normal plastic soda bottles go flat that quickly. Maybe I should only flavor some of the water as I drink it and then slightly re-fill and re-carbonate the bottle as I go instead. Problem is it means using a lot more of the CO2.
