You could also just turn the ignition "on". 2 presses on the start button without turning the engine on, and it powers up.

Thanks. I'll play around with that some more. When I noticed it I couldn't find a way to not have the engine running, but the mirror receive power. Even in accessory mode it wasn't powered.
