You're so right. I've always interpreted "pure pricing" as the negotiation scapegoat. Now, personally I think the MSRP on their cars is right on target and they really do a good job at pricing their products, but again, when the whole "mark up" issue comes up and the manager has to defend it, they can just go, "uhh, it's part of pure pricing" -- it's a hazy definition.
But again, not an attack on Scion (love em). Just my interpretation of the "pure pricing" concept.
