Subframe bushing inserts stiffen the car up and prevent body roll.
I did a stiffer engine mount in my last car and loved the shifting improvements. The extra NVH was absolutely there all the time but you get used to it. Overall if you can handle a little extra NVH, the trade-off is worth it. But if you are already like "shit i wish this car had less road noise" then absolutely do not upgrade any bushings or mounts. You have to remember that this car was a compromised build from day 1. They essentially set out to build the ultimate affordable, daily streetable, track car. So the bushings and engine mounts ect will be a bit softer, that compromise, between still good on the track but livable on the streets. Any full time track car will definitely have all of its mounts and bushings upgraded, which will make that car vibrate alot, MEGA NVH, but that stiffness translates into better handling at the limits on the track. So it's all personal choice in the end, how much NVH are you willing to risk and do you have enough seat time to justify such upgrades, as the gains on track time are usually not that significant. There is a balance, and I think Subaru/Toyota have knocked it out of the park in mostly stock form. The very basics need changing, like brake pads, fluid, tires, some minor suspension tuning. Anything further and you have compromised that daily driveability too far, IMHO as always. All of this also brings more attention to motorsports as a whole which is a rapidly growing industry.
