This is a simple fix, cheap, effective.
More permanent options do exist as well, wired straight to your OBD2 port. I knew a guy who was tracking a Gen 3 Mazda3 and that's the route he went. He did a clean install and gained the readouts he was looking for. There is also a way to get it to display on your main screen but it's not necessarily a simple process thru android auto.
