I had a Fumoto from the 3rd oil change on my car to when I sold it in 2016.
About 6-8 track events each year, including the occasional off road excursion.
Never had any issues. New owner of the car still has it and still tracks it.
Never had any issues draining the appropriate amount of oil out of the engine. Even without the valve the engine won't drain 100% of the oil inside, and if I'm that paranoid I just change my oil more often.
As for slower... it's just an opportunity for me to inspect the rest of the car while it's up in the air.
YMMV.
