Tonight I made a tteokbokki (korean rice dumplings/cake) dish for dinner. Used this recipe: https://www.ethanchlebowski.com/cook...ean-rice-cakes



The only addition I made was very thinly sliced beef that I simmered in the broth before putting the cakes in.

The flavor profile was alright and pretty much what I expected but I came away pretty disappointed, especially that I used .25lb of the beef in this instead of just making Japanese gyudon, lol.

Not sure what I'll do with the extra Korean chili powder and paste now since I don't feel like I'll want to make this again, lol. Whoops.
