I'm suggesting the Webb Telescope is more complex than our refrigerator.
Note well: I'm only making the claim for our fridge. I would hate to make a broad generalisation.

Off topic but slightly related.
One of my brothers has a small farm about a 2 hour drive from home. It is wayyyy beyond city lights. I have often thought about buying a telescope and parking it at said farm. Reality sets in when I think that with the exception of solar observation, astronomy takes place at night when I would rather be in bed.

I've been to the dark sky park in Michigan. It's crazy. Also people are idiots, flashlights are forbidden but evidently phone lights are fine? Messes up your eyes bad.
