They are two entirely different cars IMO. Supra is a track focused car that can do some road driving. The 86/brz are road driving cars that can do some track work. I’m not saying one can’t work on the other. Plus you have to be OK with owning a BMW meaning if you plan on keeping it a long time the cost that comes with it. It’s not just the cost of the car upfront but the continuing maintenance cost which is way way more with those cars. Also the manual Supra has been coming the next six months for the last two to three years So who knows? Personally taking all cost out of the picture and they did offer a manual. It would be a hard choice for me I don’t track cars just back road fun. Probably still the 86 as I would take the better weight (500+lbs more with the 3.0, 2.0 isn’t a consideration for me) , handling, and weight distribution of the 86/brz. This is a momentum vs power senario.
