Depends on why it was salvaged. If it was flooded, mods are probably gonna be tricky because of the gremlins. All flooded cars have gremlins. If you go so far as to replace literally everything in the car then you might get rid of them though.
If it was scratched on several body panels then mods aren't gonna hurt anything.
