Hey guys,
Just have a quick question.
Recently my 2013 BRZ with 140K kilometers has thrown a P0016 engine code. After about two weeks of troubleshooting, my local Subaru dealership told me that my cam sprocket needed to be replaced but they also said that it could be the ECM. They have gone ahead with replacing the sprocket, sadly that didn't fix the issue and now the want to replace the ECM.
Does this makes sense, could both the sprocket and ECM be causing the engine code simultaneously or did my dealership replace the sprocket unnecessary?
