Eh. They sell the Corolla for <$20k, sticking in the Yaris power train shouldn't be a >$15k markup. No fun things the Yaris has like the lowered carbon fiber roof line and no rear doors and it'll weigh 500# more then the Yaris because of that. Regular Corolla is ~2900# add in a bunch of cooling turbos and two more differentials and three more driveshafts on the regular MT xse Corolla.


It's already the most powerful production 3 cylinder, 300hp out of a 1.6L is McLaren and Ferrari territory, hand built Porsche and Nissan GT-R engines. They only get more out of the racecar engine because it only has to last like 100-200 hours. No way.
