i was at 4-5 wheel changes over about 7 years. and then i snapped 2 studs in the same changing(fyi, i'm the only one to have ever installed/removed wheels from date of purchase, always hand-start-to-snug, and used a 4-cross to tighten). fortunately, they were both front wheels, and i only lost 2 of my winter wheel lug nuts, which were nothing special.
