They only gave you the last 8 because everyone knows the other part. All of ours are the same. Here is the site to check for window sticker

And here is the begining part of your VIN.

Just add your last 8 to that and you have your full VIN for insurance or whatever. The last 8 is all you need for window sticker. You can Google VIN decoder and plug that in and you will see why they only have you the last 8. The first part tells you the manufacturer, plant, car,, year, etc..
