Based on your temp sticker location, your temps may be higher than you realize. 50C spread isn't uncommon across the caliper, especially if you're using the SC3R in wider sizes.

You're correct. Because of that I tried to use the sticker on the piston side but because of the curvy shape of that it didn't stick well.. to confirm the delta I used a laser temp gun and it was still remarkably lower than my previous readings. Discoloration of the caliper and the improved brake fades were also noticeable.
Using multiple temp stickers make sense, I will try that next time.
How about the brake/brake lines compared to Gen 1, are those interchangeable? TIA
