To add to the above, depends on a couple other goals... like whether you keep it stock or beef it up?
Was your current car stock? Proper oil change intervals? Driving style? In what situation did the motor let go? Just curious as to whether the engine decided to give in or if the reasons could relate to your own faults. This could also help define what you choose to do in the situation and how you care for your car if you choose to get a new engine.
