well, the simpler answer is that you can't move anything from the 10-pin to the 28 pin because the pin styles are different sizes.

i also would never re-pin the vehicle-side harnesses. GET ADAPTER HARNESSES AND HACK THEM UP.

re-pinning oem harnesses works great until you need to troubleshoot it after forgetting what you did all those years ago--how do you think i know this one?

and i know #fuck-the-next-guy™, but re-pinning oem harnesses almost entirely dooms the vehicle to an early death if you sell from being bored of it in 2 years, and they try to re-use those same harnesses in a different way, all the while, it starts popping fuses.

add-on adapter harnesses are less than $50. just get the harness.
