I was never impressed with the cup cars for
street usage. They were adding a heavy roll bar, so the weight advantage was lost and they had to cancel the curtain airbags and sun visors. I am sure they will introduce this spec again for the one-make races in Japan, but as a road car I think the 86 RC and BRZ RA grades were better.
