I know it's very weird, but that grab-handle in the gen-1 is so, *right*. As I think about it, my '71 240Z had it on the driver's side but *not* on the passenger's side. S2000 had it. To me, the scooped-out recess in the horizontal arm-rest just seems so very 1970s Buick. Am I s'posed to work my left arm/wrist/hand into an awkward position to grab it? Or have to reach over with my right hand? It's just, *WRONG*! Current design is *so* ergonomically correct for me. I honestly don't know if I can give it up...
