To explain this better, my house was placed precisely in the middle of a lot, on a designated zoning. I have 4 neighbors, 2 to back of my house, one tot he right, one to the left. I can see one of the neighbor's house that is to the rear, his backyard extends to my right neighbor, my backyard, and part of the other rear neighbor. His lot take about 60% of the zone, leaving the rest of us to divide the rest.
From what I was told, when the houses were assigned their lots, someone pulled a fast one and gave that mentioned property priority on the other ones. and the distribution of the land got all messed up.

With my house sitting in the middle of my lot, with a distance of 50Ft between every property line, this means, 50ft to the street, 50 to the rear, left and right.
My zone gets tricky after this, I cannot build any permanent structure within 50ft of the property line. Guess how much distance my house is between every line? 50Ft. Even though my rear neighbor doesnt use all of his property, because my backyard is just a bunch of trees, I had to go trough every single problem to get approval for a 10x12 deck, which almost didn't get approved by 1 vote, after spending $3000 in permits and forms.

Can't build a garage, can't get a portable one either. Have to ask permission to do any type of construction. Oh and did I mention that whenever a board member feels like it, they can come inspect my house?
