“If money is not an issue, what are good reasons to stick with 1st Gen over 2nd Gen”
Not available in all markets, but 1st gen was offering a bare bones model with a weight of less than 2635 lbs. Weight could go even lower, but it was interesting to see how factory managed it. I was lucky to get one and to modify it with selected STi and GR parts without going on the heavy side. So, it is a personal item now. If Subaru offers again a bare bones model, then I might have second thoughts.
