Mentioned this as a tangent in the Anime thread, but I recently watched Lupin (french tv series) on Netflix and loved it. Great show with a good mix of some mystery/drama/suspense/humor (not really comedy).
I'd say it's like a good mix of almost Sherlock Holmes/crime thriller/heist theme. Part of it reminds me a lot of "
The Pretender", a really great but not ever really popular show in the 90's, for reasons I can't say here without spoiling anything.
