just have a shop do it. By the time you spend money on everything you need, burn up your own time, F some things up, spend more time and money figuring it out you’ll be wishing you passed it off to someone else to do it.
This isn’t just an oil change. If you aren’t competent then don’t do it. I’ve had many friends attack major mechanical issues over the years and regret it. The ones that were successful had a decent knowledge base.
