If you park on the streets of Portland, during parking patrol hours and they see your car, they will issue you a ticket. I think the fine is around $160, but it’s been a few years since I’ve gotten a no front plate ticket. All my cars have front plates now.
The Portland parking patrol is predatory; the city is bleeding money with all the riots, homelessness, vandalism, etc. No front plate is an easy source of income for them.
