detailing around those badges is a pain, so i pulled them off and they ended up in the toolbox with everything else that's too good to throw away, but don't have an immediate use for.

sometime around the same time, i came out of a hardware store to find 2 older ladies looking at, err, 'visually scouring' my car like someone told them there was a 90% off applebee's coupon hidden in one of the panel gaps, ask them what's up, dreading one of them backed into it or something. they were just trying to figure out what brand and model car it was.

i detailed the car shortly after that and rediscovered the ranger badge in the tool box around the same time the subaru badges were getting in the way of the buffer.. i know what the car is. subaru didn't discount the car for me to advertise for them.

so some tape and a detail job later, and the brz ranger was born!

it's the one detail on the car i get the most amount of questions about
