The GTI was only 1/3 of those things and I happily sold it yesterday. I will be carless (sharing the wife's truck) until the BRZ gets delivered in hopefully November.

My car is paid off, running well, and I like it. That being said, I still intend to get a GR86. The challenge will be justifying not trading in the FR-S when buying the GR86. "Honey, our son's going to need a car too when he gets his license... in 8 years."
