2) What about any damage from driving with the open crankcase? Oil/air was blowing out the oil filler hole. Don't think anything got inside due to the outward pressure, but I changed the oil and filter again, just in case. |

We drove cars around for years with open crankcases - then someone invented the PCV valve -
