I'd say the torque is comparable, maybe a tiny bit better in the new car. Factory tune on the GR86 has a slight torque dip but it goes by quickly. This really is a car you could leave in 3rd on track and just hammer without feeling like it was a dog.
Top-end on the new car is definitely a noticeable improvement. You really do notice the extra horsepower after the AVCS Crossover.
I want to buy a GR86 solely so I can header/e85 tune it and see what it can do, I have a feeling it will be a very impressive package making potentially ~240whp.
