MuseChaser I definitely do some of that without thinking about it too. My trigger word is just "yes!" and I give a treat. But I do sometimes say "good boy!" or "yes! Good sit!" lol. Oops.
Anyway, speaking of training were still having difficult potty training times since I can't bring him outside on grass yet other than the small square I have on my balcony. I want to put a leash on Haru even for the balcony, and there are times I know he needs to pee but he refuses to let me put the leash on unless I have a treat, and then sometimes the grass distracts him so much that even me standing there for ten minutes isn't enough, so we come back inside and he pees on the carpet.
On the plus side we have a new party trick we worked on today: "around!", where he runs in a quick circle following my finger. We can do about 2.5 arounds in a row till he gives up right now lol.
