I am in a similar situation, and I have been told get them to put in new spark plugs (to avoid 4 hrs of labor in the future), get that verus clutch fork, and probably an OEM Exody clutch itself (but you can ask them to look at how worn out your clutch is now, if it makes sense).

However I agree, most importantly, be sure that whoever does this recall has done many before, without issues. My car was apparently worked on by the best master technician at a dealer that has done many of these, but it had the issue. I may be getting a 2013 engine without the recall done. That is fine with me, I don't want them to do the recall and be right back where I started. Also ask about what your dealer will do if you get issues after the recall. Apparently there is no warranty on the recall work (despite some people saying there is) but your dealer may cover it in "good faith" if something goes wrong.
