Precise timed events can be measured down to millionths of a milliannum. Makes perfect sense; instead of dividing our current annum in to 12 "months," a "month" into 28, 30, or 31 "days.".... (Seriously?!?!.. you idiots can't even pick just ONE random number?!?).... A "day" into 24 "hours" into 60 "minutes".. a "minute" into 60 "seconds" (hey, at least you were barely consistent and used the number 60 twice... Why 60, I have no idea, but whatever...)... And then FINALLY we get to use the metric system for tenths of a second. Soooooo stupid.

Base the annum on the time it takes the earth to orbit the sun... Of course. However, let the rest be independent of insignificant variables like our moon's orbit, the earth's rotation, and other meaningless references. We are talking metric here, baby, where we measure the world by OUR terms, and define the science as WE wish, and not allowing natural phenomena to rule and guide US.. I mean who is in charge here? WE are! Right?

Of course, with our new logical adherence to the science and metric time measurements, our sleep cycles may be disrupted substantially until we adapt and evolve, leading to health issues for many of us, but that shouldn't matter. We need to stop debating this, stamp out misinformation, and follow the science. The time has come to accept metric time.

Don't forget the 70's duodecimal movement
