Also kinda miffed about the lack of the spare tire. I'd rather have a slightly heavier car and remove the spare at the track  . I know barely anyone has to use their spare, however, when you loose a tire 100+ miles away from home and the tow bill is $100+ you'll be wishing you had that spare. |

Typical of manufacturers though, they just fill the spare tire well with a foam block with tools and a fix-a-flat kit.

They may have well kept a slot for it. Last time they kept the wheel well and had the tools there with a cover over the top.
