i started carrying tools when i was more responsible for the rest of the families aging fleet, so i would spontaneously run by pick-n-pull yards for replacement parts when i had time. we've all moved out, and generally upgraded vehicles to models new enough that haven't really dropped into pick-n-pull yards yet, so i need it a lot less than i used to.
