And modding your wheel hub is likely to void your warranty.

If something happens to your engine, they aren't going to deny your warranty because you changed your hubs lol. Not a bad decision because the twins have amongst the most aftermarket support so you have your swaps for people that are desperate for 114.3 which I don't get since most styles have 5x100 variants, they keep price down for us folks and as timurr pointed out 1st gen owners can swap their wheels for 2nd gen.
